How does the future of Romania’s medical
system look like?
In an exclusive round table conference
presented by The Diplomat we will bring together
for an interactive meeting the leading voices
of the Romanian health system, from policy
makers and government representatives to private
business players in the medical industry to discuss where the strengths and weaknesses lie and what
opportunities are for the private part to team
up with the state in order to offer better health service.
The overall objective of the Health system
future of Romania conference is to address to both
authorities and private business the great healthrelated
investment opportunities that Romania can
create in the following years.
To better understand these investment
opportunities, a coordinated effort is needed,
in which medical staff, health economists and
other interested companies join forces to initiate
partnerships and more effective strategies for
PPP’s, of novel forms of cooperation to facilitate
the transfer of knowledge for the mobilisation
of the human and financial resources that the
expanding global health economy requires.
The following broad set of questions will be
addressed during the event:
• What institutions must be developed in modern
health systems to improve the incentives for
investments from the private companies?
• What rules and institutions are needed to
fully exploit the opportunities for international
cooperation in the development, evaluation,
diffusion and adoption of new medical facilities,
especially in Europe’s common market?
• How can health policy help to improve the
coordination of private and public health-related
investment decisions? |
